The Farglory Group is formally designated. In addition to the Fareast Land, more than ten other businesses are incorporated under the Farglory name. With a commitment to professionalism and ceaseless improvement, the Farglory Group signs a BOT contract to construct the Taipei Dome complex.

The Farglory Free Trade Zone and Port officially opens for business. The Farglory Air Cargo and Warehousing Company is listed on the the Taiwan Stock Exchange as 'TSE:5607 Farglory Port'. And the company name is changed to Farglory Free Trade Zone and Holdings Co. Ltd.

Farglory Land Development Company acquires the Taiwan branch of Zurich Life Insurance, and becomes the first Taiwanese life insurance company that acquired a foreign business.
